RIO DE JANEIRO – Day 2 + 3

The next day we woke up really late, feeling like hell. It was the effect of last night’s overdrinking in Lapa, but it was totally worth it 🙂
Horsing on the rooftop because breakfast was already late 🙂

So, we woke up around 11am and went through all the freshing-up real quick. However, by the time we got to the breakfast room it was 11:30am and we were already too late for a free breakfast. And so, we decided to start our day by going back to the bakery from the day before. They also had very good breads ith really low price.

Right after breakfast, we headed straight down to the beach again to take a short walk before our day tour began at 2pm. The sun was nice and it was little breezy that day. I gotta way during our trip, we were lucky to have wonderful weather for all the days.

We got off the bus at a nice lake between Copacabana and Ipanema. the view was spectacular…

Another friend we met at Bossa in Rio 🙂 (he’s in blue right there!!!)

We were worried because the tour bus was late. We thought it was a scam because we hadn’t seen any travel agency that closes on saturday O.o Anyways, the tour was okay, but I wouldn’t recommend it again simply because the tourguide wasn’t that clear when she spoke and she really doesn’t know much about Rio history…

Rio at night, from Pão de Açucar

And while we were hanging out on Pão de Açucar, they left us there and ended the tour like that… It turned out a good thing because we spent more time at the place ad took tons of pictures, no rush at all!!!

At night we went back to Lapa, but stayed mostly at the bar area since there was a music festival going on. It was really nice and crowded

For a wild moment, we decided to have some hennah tatoo to mark our trip in Rio 🙂 Just like that the night ended after few beers…

The next morning we woke up really early and had some breakfast at the hostel, then rush out to enjoy the last few hours of Rio before heading back to Sorocaba.

A little snack for the long bus trip 🙂

Someday i’ll be back to this city 🙂 It’s not a very wealthy or modern city, but it has its own charm…
